The Mother Ambassadors for Peace (MAP) program is a socially and racially diverse group of mothers who are using their collective wisdom and resources to find solutions to the escalating violence in Chicago. Many of the mothers in MAP live, work and raise their children in two of Chicago’s most violent neighborhoods, Englewood and Woodlawn.
Mother to mother. Woman to woman. No matter what backgrounds and neighborhoods we live in, that shared connection of being a mother and stronger female presence in the home always makes the real difference.
